I have heard it said many times that the person that wins is the person that sticks with it more consistently. You can be a brilliant person with all of the talent that shows up occasionally or the person that shows up everyday and does it messy. The person that shows up everyday will have had plenty of chances to learn by failing over and over again. Failure is a great thing when you are in this cycle. It gives you a chance to learn and find a way to pick yourself back up every day. The first failure by someone that plays the occasional game will devastate them and most likely cause them to give up.

Persistence and purpose will help you to win this year. Show up everyday and do something meaningful. And, even if you lose today, tomorrow you will have another chance to win.
