Sometimes when there is lots of chaos in your life, you have to ask what needs to be taken off your plate. Things stack up continuously and before you know it you are swamped in the throes of life. It doesn’t have to be that way. You can fiercely delete the things in your life that aren’t serving you.
Some things are easy to remove, like: assigning more of the chores to your able-bodied children or skipping events that you aren’t really happy about. Others are more complex, such as: asking for help at work or admitting that you can’t complete something on your own.
Your job is to protect your peace, even if it means you have to have hard conversations or even if you have to deal with your ego in the process.
