I am not going to accept the status quo when it comes to life. I have seen so many examples of people that settle for things as they think they are and fail to craft their desired life.

Marriage is a great example. I have seen so many older people model their marriage like this: we spend almost all of our time apart because we don’t get along and don’t respect each other and have stopped trying, but we are too old to find anyone else…. yawn. This is the example I witnessed in my family. That will not be me.

We get to make choices everyday. I am choosing intention and setting my sights on me being an old married man that can’t wait to wake up to my best friend every day.
