No one really knows what sort of existence we experience beyond our earthly life. We can only assume by spiritual texts our by our own beliefs. I get the feeling that the earth (and the universe) is merely an extension of the eternal divine. I have to agree with the notion that we aren’t here by accident and I think that those that don’t believe in an after-life, don’t get to experience the full richness of life.

The notion of death, of nothingness, is very dangerous. It makes people suffer a lot.

If you think about it just briefly, you can figure that the delicate balance of the earth and the universe is handled by a power that is much larger than ourselves. And, if we come from this power, we are returned back to it after our bodies fail.

I’m not an expert. None of us are. I do know that we are only here for a short time and what we do on earth can empty your soul or bring it alive with beauty.
